Cancer is cureable, not a death sentence!!!

First, I am not a doctor. However, I am a student of life and over the years my studies have and are continually leading me to the conclusion that diet and proper exercise can heal the majority of all illnesses.

Processed foods are not your friend! Fried foods are not your friend! Diet soft drinks do more harm than good, and milk is not your friend either. Anything made of aspartame, and/or artificial sweetners (such as nutrasweet) are feeding the cancer cells and doing more harm than good.

Your body is a living organism so it is imperative that you feed it living foods. Fruits, vegetables, soaked nuts, and most importantly WATER are all vital for your survival.

A recent survey states 1 out of 2 men will get cancer and 1 out of 3 women will get cancer as well!!! Are you seeing this!? These numbers are alarming to say the least, especially when you consider that cancer was something that was fairly non-existant about 50 years ago. There are many many causes in our technologically advanced new world but one thing remains constant, Cancer can not exist in an alkaline environment.

Chemotherapy, and radiation are not necessities! Your body is made to heal itself!
Listen to this interview which goes into great detail on how to fight cancer, build your immune system and get you on the right track.

If you have cancer, don't be scared. A positive mind is the beginning of the victory.
The following is an interview with Dr. Leonard Coldwell on coast to coast. I hope it helps someone!!!

Exercises, Exercises, Exercises...

This site is a great site that demonstrates how to properly do olympic lifts and
other weightlifting exercises. Great for the novice, or anybody else that wants a refresher in weightlifting 101.

Stay away from the SOY!!!!

Ok, so my last rant was on Aspartame or sweet poison as I call it. Well this time I'm going to address Soy. Over the last few years, soy has been hailed as the new super food. You can get it everywhere, soy milk, tofu, soysauce, edamame, soynuts, etc...Soy has been praised as being able to fight cancer, help aid hotflashes plus more. And soy is probably capable of these wonderful things in small quantities however the problem is the average person is getting way too much of this in there systems and don't even realize it.

Soy or soy biproducts are easy to cultivate and thus are used in pretty much every product on the typical grocery store shelf. From chips to cookies, there are some type of soy letichin, soy protein, soy emulsifier, etc... used in the production of that goods. Moreover, the soybean has recently become one of the leading products being harvested as a GMO crop!

Now lets look at the reasons I am opposed to the magic "soy" bean!

Soy contains the following: GOITROGENS- These can decrease thyroid function and increase the possibility of depression.

HEMAGLUTININS- These can increase the likelihood of our redblood cells clumping together which can compromise blood flow and circulation in our systems( even to our brain)

PHYTATES- These can decrease mineral absorption, including absorption of the minerals calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc.

PHYTOESTROGENS- These can be productive or disasterous! They can be preventative of breast cancer in those who haven't reached menopause
BUT,
they can increase the rate of tumor growth in women who already been diagnosed with estrogen dependent breast cancer.

Soybeans/ soy products have a substance that also mimics estrogen which is not beneficial for males!

With that being said, I use to be the #1 advocate for SOY MILK! Not anymore, if you want a good milk substitute, go with Almond Milk, Rice Milk, or Cashew Milk. These all taste pretty good and I don't really notice a difference. I haven't tried Hemp just yet but alot of people are jumping on that band wagon as well.

Maybe I'm a bit of a fanatic but always check the labels, if the product you are buying is made of some type of soy or soy biproduct, look for a substitute or just don't get it. TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE DYING OF STRANGE CANCERS AND STRANGE SICKNESSES!!!
Always try to buy organic and stay away from GMO foods.

Thanks for reading and remember "Health is Wealth!"

Aspartame!! Sweet Poison! Watch what you eat!

My question is a simple one. Why is aspartame included in almost all of our chewing gums and candies! I remember a time when gum was not made with this junk however now
almost 9 out of every ten gums are made with Aspartame. Now let's go past the gum,
as I started to notice a trend in the gums I began to analyze candies, diet drinks, soft drinks etc. Looks like Aspartame has become the new sweetner of choice. Similar to
Equal, and Nutrasweet- this is another sugar substitute with the potential to cause severe adverse effects! How is this stuff even aloud to be placed in our food? Did you know Aspartame was once used as a RAT POISON!!??

The following link shows an article that goes into a bit more detail of how Aspartame is produced with Genetically Modified Bacteria!

http://www.mindfully.org/GE/Aspartame-GM-Bacteria.htm

According to the following article( http://www.sweetpoison.com/aspartame-sweeteners.html ), short term side effects are as follows:
Headache, mood changes, dizziness, manic episodes, panic attacks, seizures etc...

This should not be surprising. I have included another article for your edutainment.

In this day, we literally perish for lack of knowledge. What we don't know about the foods we eat can and does (CANCER) kill us!

Scrubs- I really like this show

Ok I'm one of the few people left without digital tv. Thus, I am limited to UPN and an endless supply of random dvds. Just so happens as I was going through some of my brother in law's old dvds I found seasons 5 and 6 of scrubs. Now, I have seen this show once or twice before but it never really caught my attention as a "good" show.
However, with most of my dvds already been seen atleast 1 time already I figured I would check out these dvds. Man, I guess I had been missing out. This show is funny as hell to me. Yes I am easily amused but I must say the episodes are pretty dang good.

If you haven't seen it before or never wanted to give it a chance, check it out.
Dr. Cox's sarcasm is legendary. And Turk and JD are silly as hell. The Hetero-Gay
relationship they have is throwed off as in every sense of the word.

Long story short. SHRUBS makes you really wonder what goes on behind the scenes at a hospital. Ok, I know this is a made for TV show but it entertains me just a bit more
than E.R.

ok I'm done...

Going into week 8 of p90x

Ok, I must say I'm at a bitter sweet point. I am getting stronger definitely. I have reincorporated pullups into my routine so I have noticed a change already in the amount of energy I exert in my workouts. However, I have been pretty lenient on the diet portion so I am not seeing that 8 pack I was hoping for just yet ;o)

Tomorrow makes the beginning of week 8 so I will start getting my nutrition aka healthy living aka diet into a more strict form. Don't get me wrong, I am seeing
results but as we live in this microwave society, I have gotten acustomed to waiting
things faster without much effort. However, as we all know, faster does not always mean better.

Anyway, I can't wait to see what the next few weeks have to offer!

The following video offers some tips that I feel will help you get the most out of your p90x routine.

Sometimes a fast is what the body needs!

Well, I don't know about you but I have to be honest with you. I don't always put the best food into my body. Between the fast food and junk food we put into our bodies willingly and the additional toxins that our bodies deal with from the pollutants in our society, we really need to flush out our systems from time to time.

For me, I decided I'm going to do another four day water fast! I have done fasts before and trust me they do not kill you. You actually feel a great sense of accomplishment when the fast is completed because you have taken control of your body. This really helps to increase your confidence and willpower. (This will also help drop a few quick pounds in weight)

During this fasting period, your body is able to flush toxins out, and actually try to repair itself. I have heard stories of people going 15-40 days with no problem at all. As a matter of fact, they say at about day 15 you begin to have a mental clarity that was lacking before. One day I will actually try this myself but that is not that day. It is believed that after 4 days of fasting, the healing process actually begins in the body. Trust me, whether your dealing with Diabetes, high blood pressure, or pretty much any other ailment out there, a fast can help you!

Jesus even told us when we fast how to do so. Notice HE said when not if! A fast is not just something for people on a spiritual journey. It is a method to let your body recuperate. It is during this time that our bodies can fully restore themselves as it does not have to focus on the digestion process. Maybe you should try one also, let me know how it works out!

Peace

Back on the p90x again- Week 4 results.

As you can see from the earlier blogs, this is my second time on the program.
The first time I got to about week 7 and then work over took me and I didn't finish.
Fast forward...

Well, my wife and I have just started week 4 ( the recovery week).
I did core synergistics today and one of the first things we do is pushups!
I thought isn't this was a recovery week!? lol... Pushups are hard work too!

Anyway, the workout wasn't to0 bad. I really enjoy this program.
Having someone to do it with helps also because it keeps you motivated
and accountable.

As far as my current results are concerned...
I don't really feel like I have lost any weight or gained.
But I do look slimmer in the face and I am definitely getting stronger.
I have always been of a slim build and pretty athletic so that may be a factor
as well. I'll get on the scale at the end of the week and take some pictures
to document the progress though.

Until next time, keep pushing play
Peace
